Duplicate emails to the same address can overwhelm recipients and harm your brand reputation. This feature resolves such challenges by: 

  • Streamlining Communication: Ensuring that each unique email address receives your campaign message only once, regardless of how many contacts share the address. 
  • Enhancing Deliverability: Preventing multiple emails reduces the likelihood of your messages being flagged as spam, helping maintain customer trust. 
  • Improving Analytics: It simplifies the interpretation of customer engagement metrics by reducing redundant data points. 
How It Works

The email deduplication feature operates within real-time marketing segment-based journeys and offers options to: 

  1. Enable or Disable Deduplication: Granting marketers control over its application based on campaign needs.

2. Analyze Duplicate Data: Review duplicated email addresses through journey analytics to identify and address issues proactively.

Practical Benefits

How to Enable It

To use the deduplication feature, simply activate it in your
Settings -> Feature Switches -> Enable Email deduplication.  
From there, the system will automatically filter out duplicate entries based on shared email addresses.

  • B2C Campaigns: Preventing multiple promotional emails to family members using a shared email address.
  • Event Invitations: Ensuring only one invite per household when attendees register under the same email address.
