We are expanding our onshore delivery capability and are currently looking for a Principal Functional Consultant – D365 Finance & Operations and Business Central to join our consulting team in Sydney. This role will operate at a lead level, overseeing the delivery of D365 ERP implementations 

🔧 What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead and participate in requirement-gathering workshops to capture and analyse client business processes. 
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for configuration and development. 
  • Configure and implement core modules, including Sales, Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehousing, and Manufacturing. 
  • Conduct fit-gap analyses and advise clients on best practices, process improvements, and solution options. 
  • Oversee solution delivery in collaboration with technical consultants, covering customisations, integrations, and reporting. 
  • Engage with C-level executives and senior client leadership, providing strategic guidance and influencing decisions. 
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles and ensure delivery quality. 
  • Deliver end-user training and create documentation to support smooth adoption. 
  • Provide continuous improvement recommendations to enhance the client’s ERP ecosystem post-implementation. 
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to ERP consultants across onshore and offshore teams. 
  • Provide leadership in pre-sales, including demos, submitting RFPs, etc. 

What You Bring: 

  • 10+ years of end-to-end Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Business Central project implementation experience. 
  • Successfully led a minimum of 5 end-to-end implementations of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Business Central. 
  • Proven hands-on expertise in configuring Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Business Central 
  • Strong understanding of accounting, supply chain, and operational processes. 
  • Experience facilitating workshops, documenting requirements, and preparing functional specifications. 
  • Ability to lead discussions with clients and translate requirements into system configurations. 
  • Experience managing enterprise-level projects involving complex integrations with external systems 
  • Familiarity with data migration approaches and working with technical teams for integrations/customisations. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Microsoft certifications in Business Central and Finance & Operations are highly regarded.
