Senior SQA Analyst

ITKnocks Pvt Ltd is currently seeking a talented Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to provide a range of testing services to ensure the successful release and deployment of our software solutions. This will be predominately focused on database migration/reconciliation and system integration. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test strategies for carrying required testing including databases reconciliation and system integration.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of system requirements and technical specifications to develop effective testing scenarios and test cases.
• Perform rigorous testing of database structures, data integrity, and system integration to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality tests using manual means and automation to ensure the product being delivered is of high quality.
• Act as a subject matter expert within the team and in collaboration with other teams.
• Utilise advanced testing techniques and methodologies to identify defects and vulnerabilities in software applications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and business analysts to understand system architecture and design test scenarios accordingly.
• Participate in team planning, estimation, reviews, stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate development risks, issues and decisions.
• Coach and mentor team members where appropriate to improve overall team performance.
• Analyse test results and provide detailed test summary reports to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality assurance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in quality assurance, ensuring quality of software products using manual and automation methodologies preferred for various platforms and browsers.
• Proven expertise in testing databases SQL, Oracle, etc. and system integration RESTful APIs, Web-services etc..
• Relevant and strong testing experience in functional, system integration, regression, and e2e testing with advanced SQL skills.
• Strong experience with RDBMS preferably Oracle/ MS SQL complex queries – able to write queries for testing, do technical verification of database structures, and partner with developers for quick fixes including preparing scripts for data migration / reconciliation testing.
• Familiarity with test management/automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, Soap UI, JIRA and Confluence etc.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle SDLC and other testing methodologies.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interface with clients.
• Self-motivated and be able to work independently.
• Experience with automation testing will be preferred.
• Experience on Dynamics 365 CRM projects will be preferred.
• Experience with non-functional testing performance/security will be a big plus.
